Water Right Change Applications

JBWD is applying to make changes to three of its water rights (think of these as permits to use water). The goal is to improve our water supply for the community.

Explaining the Water Rights Change Request

Water Right Change Application Number CG1-000457CL.   The request by Juniper Beach Water District (JBWD) under this change application is to add two additional points of withdrawal (Well Nos. 6, and 7). In addition, consistent with the municipal water law, JBWD would like to clarify that the purpose of use meets the definition as being for municipal water supply purposes and that the place of use is consistent with its water service area as approved by the Washington State Department of Health.   The original change application was amended during processing to correct errors in the following parcel numbers related to existing and proposed well locations:

Well No. 4 – Parcel number changed from R33227-320-1300 to R33227-320-0870.

Well No. 7 – Parcel number changed from R33228-421-4850 to R33228-412-4850.
