Winterization of Homes and Cabins

If you are vacationing or away during the winter season or if you are not regularly visiting your residence or beach homes/cabins please make sure that water lines are protected from freezing. Shutting off your water at the meter and draining your water tank is a good idea if you will not be returning until next spring.

Over the past several years we had several water leaks attributed to residences not being winterized.....don't be one of those!  Each winter we have leaks due to freezing weather which can easily be prevented by proper winterization practices.  Our water system operator, King Water Co. is not responsible for shutting off water or checking houses for leaks.   Please save our water resources and prevent a mess and expensive repair job for yourself!
